Upon a thorough examination of each individual’s musculoskeletal (alignment, posture, joint mobility, soft tissue integrity) and neurological systems, PTs “develop a plan, using treatment techniques to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability.” --American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
MAT is a systematic approach to identify and correct muscle weakness, contributing to pain, imbalances, and impaired function.

Myofascial Release
“Myofascial Release is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion.”  Visit for more information.

CranioSacral Therapy
Craniosacral Therapy involves therapeutic touch to regulate the flow of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), considered to be the body’s "primary respiration system.” To do this, a practitioner will apply light touches to a patient's skull, face, spine, pelvis and extremities to assess and balance the CSF rhythm. Reiki is the ancient Japanese healing art of spiritually guided, universal life-force energy. This gentle technique can be performed with hands-on techniques or through distant intention, and is beneficial for providing relaxation and self-healing of the body.

Using gentle hands-on pressure to precise points on the hands, feet and ears, one can stimulate corresponding areas of the body, including organs and specific muscles. Reflexology is said to promote benefits such as the relaxation of tension, improvement of circulation, and support of normalized function in the related area in the body.

Kinesiology Tape
Flexible tape is applied strategically to the skin to provide sensory information, improve muscle function, enhance circulation of blood and lymph fluid, reduce pain, and provide re-alignment of tissues.

Functional Movement Re-training
Body mechanics training and self-awareness education is provided for clients recovering from injury as well as those clients interested in prevention. All activities of daily living will become more efficient, including self care activities, sitting, movement transfers, walking, stair climbing, lifting, bending, caretaking, and recreational activities/sports.
